These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of onvert (onvert.app, the "Service"), operated by Luca Vittorio Bartoccini ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
onvert is a free tool that converts images entirely within your web browser. Conversion happens on your device; we do not receive or store your files. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
2. Acceptable use
- You are solely responsible for the files you convert and confirm you have the right to convert them.
- You must not use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or in violation of any applicable law.
- You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the Service, or reverse-engineer it for malicious purposes.
3. Intellectual property
The onvert name, branding, design, and code are owned by the operator and protected by applicable law. You retain all rights to the files you convert and to the converted output. We claim no ownership over your content.
4. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every conversion will be perfect for every file or use case. You use the Service at your own risk.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. Paid plans
Paid features, when available, will be sold by Paddle.comacting as the merchant of record, and will be subject to Paddle's buyer terms in addition to these Terms, together with a separate refund and cancellation policy.
7. Changes
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.
